Poltekkes Manado Students Shine At 11th NHPEO

Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu successfully hosted the 11th National Health Polytechnic English Olympics (NHPEO) from July 30 to August 1, 2024. This prestigious event brought together students from health polytechnics across Indonesia to compete in various English language categories.

Among the standout performers were the students of Poltekkes Manado, who achieved remarkable success. Their impressive accomplishments are as follows:

Gold Champion in Writing Novice Category

Kartika Sharon Bojoh, a dedicated student from the D3 Nursing program, secured the gold medal in the Writing Novice Category. Her outstanding writing skills and creativity earned her the top spot in this category.

Bronze for Best Speaker in Novice Debate

Christine Mongkau, a student of the D3 Pharmacy program, was awarded the bronze medal for Best Speaker in the Novice Debate category. Her articulate arguments and confident delivery distinguished her from the competition.

Honorable Mention as Semifinalists in Novice Debate

Gracia Pontolawokang from the D3 Medical Laboratory Technology program and Christine Mongkau from D3 Pharmacy received honorable mentions as semifinalists in the Novice Debate category. Their teamwork and critical thinking skills were highly commendable.

Silver Medals in Vlogging

The team consisting of Glorious Reinhard Paruntu, Fathir Amuraini, and Salommita Maola, all students from the D3 Pharmacy program, earned silver medals in the Vlogging category. Their engaging content and effective communication skills were highly appreciated by the judges.

Bronze Medal in Storytelling Master Category

Nathalie Pricillia Sorusa, an Applied Bachelor of Nursing student, won the bronze medal in the Storytelling Master Category. Her compelling storytelling abilities captivated the audience and judges alike.

Bronze Medal in Public Speaking Novice Category

Miranda Naomi Kawuwung, a student from the D3 Medical Laboratory Technology program, was awarded the bronze medal in the Public Speaking Novice Category. Her eloquent speech and confident presence earned her this recognition.
